Be prepared for disappointment, failure and brokenness, for that is the only path that leads to resiliency and steadfastness. Always remember that Christ is the Head of the Church, and not men, and He knows what He is doing.
- It you are not positively sure God has called you to ministry, get out! You are wasting God’s time, your time and the church’s assets and energy.
- If you have been called to ministry, find out just what your spiritual gifts are and work in an area of ministry where those can be utilized.
- Always be willing to constantly “borrow brain” from anybody and any source that will further your development in effective ministry and your personal growth in Christ.
- Don’t put limits either geographically or ecclesiastically on where you will go to serve your Lord.
- Let the Lord decide what your goals and life ministry will finally look like, and not you yourself!
- Be prepared for disappointment, failure and brokenness, for that is the only path that leads to resiliency and steadfastness.
- Always remember that Christ is the Head of the Church, and not men, and He knows what He is doing.
