If you see or hear something that is newsworthy (e.g., not simply a rumor, no matter how hot it is) send an email and/or text to [email protected]. That would certainly be quicker and easier than trying to find Dominic Aquila at any given time!!
A flare up of an old back injury, which occurred in a Navy helicopter accident back in the late 70’s, has resulted in my having to miss attending the 40th General Assembly of the PCA. I missed the 1st (Birmingham) as I was in my last year of seminary at Covenant; and the 12th (Baton Rouge) as I had required on-campus classes for my DMin at Gordon-Conwell). Watching it on live stream doesn’t allow for the fun meals with old friends or the meetings of counsel and prayer with those in tough situations.
The good news is that I can still write; perhaps it will be even easier to do the actual writing from the comfort of my home office. But in order for ‘off-site’ stories to have real value, then need ‘on-site’ input. That’s where the loyal readers of The Aquila Report come in.

Of course, if you are in the middle of a story (i.e. a member of a committee of commissioners that is recommending a major action) send me the info. Don’t worry about organization of the data; just get as much of it to me as possible. And don’t think that someone else is going to send it to me anyway; getting data on the same event from 2, 3, or any number of people is better than getting zero.
If there is any reason you can’t use text/email, call me at 540-726-8223. I may be away for short periods during the day; if so, just leave a message. While it is not necessary, I would like to hear from you if you would like to help.
