After Being Targeted by NBC News, Christian School Refuses to Back Down on Traditional Morality
The threats came in reaction to an article by NBC News, which published several paragraphs of a June 6 email reiterating to school parents the school’s commitment to biblical sexuality.
“We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transgender identity/lifestyle, self-identification, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful in the sight of God and the church (Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1; I Corinthians 6:9; I Thessalonians 4:2-7),” the email added. “Students who are found participating in these lifestyles will... It Can’t be Both Depending on How We Feel
In the end, we have to choose. Is this a human life or not?
If it isn’t a baby really, we should be telling the Ferdinands to get over themselves and stop making mountains out of mole hills. It is not different to having some skin peel off. It is a total nonsense to make such things national news: couple distraught at clump of cells no longer existing. If,... Continue Reading
What is the Pitiful Problem With Education?
This fog of confusion obscures the kind of education that prepares one for life. Any opposition to this explanation for failure is immediately met with charges of bigotry and racism, and this is the current status of education.
The words teach and teaching are mentioned 212 times in the scriptures. Christianity, unlike any other worldview, is an intellectually rigorous worldview. For far too long, we’ve delegated education to public school systems. Only recently have Christians taken a stand, as we’ve witnessed the proliferation of homeschooling across the country. The next phase of growth, however, will require true... Continue Reading
Monkeypox and the Face of Gay Promiscuity
Promiscuous gay German man's nose nearly rots off from monkeypox. He also had advanced syphilis and HIV, but didn't know it.
In the United States, we have had legal same-sex marriage from coast to coast for seven years now. Of course the culture of debauchery has not changed. It never was going to change. And look, if the horrors of AIDS didn’t change it, why should monkeypox? That’s a pretty horrible picture, innit? It’s a... Continue Reading
Christian Nationalism is Biblical and America-First, but It’s Not White
Americans of all races are embracing Christian, America First policies, despite establishment attempts to vilify them as racist.
The United States isn’t special because it’s a nation chosen by God; it’s special because it’s a nation that chose God. The implications are entirely biblical. Holy Scripture invites individuals from every race, tribe, nation, and language to freely enter into a personal relationship with the Savior, to live by His commandments, and worship Him as King.... Gospel Hope After a Church Burning
College Hill Presbyterian Church in Oxford, Mississippi
Strangely enough, the fire has recentered people on the hope of the gospel. God’s timing is infinitely kind. I think this could be a severe mercy from the Lord and may open up tremendous opportunities. When we were sitting on folding chairs in the fellowship hall on Sunday, I thought, This feels like a church plant to... Continue Reading
The Corruption of Medicine
Guardians of the profession discard merit in order to alter the demographics of their field.
Tragically, when it comes to the contention that racism is the defining trait of the medical profession and the source of health disparities, opposing views have been ruled out of bounds and are grounds for being purged. The separation of politics and science is no longer seen as a source of empirical strength; it is... Continue Reading
Corporate Social Responsibility and its Newest Version: ESG
The current guise adopted by the CSR folks is called ESG: Environmental, Social, Governance scores.
To get swept up in the latest CSR or ESG fad is bad business. By pursuing partisan political goals instead of traditional business goals, business leaders offend some consumers, demoralize or anger some employees, and poorly serve their shareholders. Since consumers, employees, and shareholders are the members of society that a business affects most directly,... Continue Reading
The Dismantlers
San Diego public schools want to overthrow “heteronormativity” and promote “genderqueer,” “non-binary,” “pansexual,” and “two-spirit” identities.
To divide the world into man and woman and to encourage the development of families and children is not “oppression,” but a basic process of human nature—one that should not be discarded under the false pretenses of academic postmodernism. San Diego Unified is the latest school district to adopt the principles of academic queer... Continue Reading
Progressivism’s Dark Frontier
“Everything is normal” sex education, has given us “anything goes” sexual ethics, with dire results.
So it is with our sexual nature. God made us for heterosexual, monogamous marriage. That is the physiological and biological reality. That alone is the context in which sexual expression may safely take place. The lifelong union of one man to one woman alone is suited to our design. The sexual act is a procreative act. It has other... Continue Reading
