As previously reported in The Aquila Report, President Niel Nielson stepping down from Covenant College’s presidency on June 30, 2012 The Board of Directors of the College is in the process of searching for and selecting Covenant’s sixth president.
The executive committee of the Board of Trustees has appointed a Presidential Search Committee, composed of thirteen members who represent the board, alumni, students, faculty, and staff, and they bring experience, leadership, and a love of Covenant College. The members are (in alphabetical order):

Mr. Moore, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Presidential Search Committee, is asking the Covenant College community and other interested parties to join them in prayer for some specific needs, including
Pray for wisdom and discernment for the Presidential Search Committee as they go about the business of seeking and selecting Covenant’s next president.
Pray that God will be exalted through both the search process and the hiring of the College’s next president.
Pray for God’s blessing upon Covenant’s sixth president, whom the Lord has already ordained.
Praise God for his faithfulness to and through Covenant College generation after generation, and pray for his continued blessing on the unique mission of this community.
