Wheaton College’s Science Division presents a lecture by James Kim, President and founder of the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology in North Korea and the Yanbian University of Science and Technology in China. The lecture, followed by a Q & A time, takes place from 7–8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 28.
In September 2009, the first privately funded university ever allowed in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was dedicated. Founder James Kim will speak about the new university in a lecture titled “Celebrating the Opening of Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST) in North Korea, and Working with American Christian Professionals.”
